Privacy policy
Last updated: July 20, 2026
This policy explains what personal data we process at bit.poker, what for and with whom. The short version: we ask for the minimum (your email), we sell data to no one, and we use no advertising or analytics cookies.
1. Controller
The data controller is the owner of bit.poker (see the legal notice). Contact for any privacy matter: hello@bit.poker.
2. What we process and why
- Email: your account identifier and where we send the sign-in link. Basis: performance of the contract.
- Preferred language: to show the interface and send emails in your language.
- Training progress: attempts, results, streaks and per-concept statistics. This is the essence of the service (knowing what you miss so you can review it).
- Billing data: if you buy a plan, Stripe processes the payment and we store your active plan and a Stripe customer identifier. We never see your card.
- Questions to the AI coach: when you use the coach, your question and the hand's context (the numbers already computed by the engine) are sent to the AI model provider to generate the answer. They are not used for advertising.
- Technical logs: our infrastructure (Cloudflare) produces the usual access logs (IP, date, resource) for security and operations.
3. Providers (processors)
- Cloudflare — hosting, database and the coach's AI runtime.
- Stripe — payment processing and billing portal.
- Resend — delivery of sign-in emails.
- Anthropic — fallback AI model for the coach when the main runtime doesn't answer.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, they rely on the legal transfer mechanisms in force (standard contractual clauses or adequacy frameworks).
4. For how long
For as long as you keep your account. If you ask us to delete it, we erase your personal data and keep only what tax law requires us to keep (payment records) for the legal periods.
5. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to hello@bit.poker. If you believe we have not handled it properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or your local authority.
6. Minors
The service is recommended for ages 18+ and is not aimed at children under 14; we do not knowingly create accounts for them.
7. Cookies
We only use strictly necessary technical cookies (session and language). Details in the cookie policy.
