How to play it before the flop
The fundamentals charts open it from the cutoff for 2.5bb, and from the button as well. If the button opens and you are in the big blind, the chart says call.
Two suited high cards play about as well after the flop as anything: top pairs, straights and flushes, and rarely the awkward guess about whether you are ahead. Against the button range it sits at 47.6%. This is the classic value 3-bet against late-position opens, because it brings playability as well as equity.
